The 2nd Shanghai International Symposium on Human-Centered Robotics (HCR 2018) will take place in Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center, Shanghai, China, during July 14-16, 2018.

Theme: AI Enhanced Robots: Assistance to Life

Innovative results on medical, rehabilitation, service and aerospace robotics are invited, such as dysfunction assistant robot, intelligent robots in rehabilitation and physiotherapy, body assistance robots in astronautics, mech​anism design theory and method of wearable robots, intelligent perception and cognition in communion robots, biomechanical modeling and simulation in human-machine communion, dynamics and control in robot communion, control theory for remote man-machine collaboration, and other human-centered intelligent systems.


Prospective academic and industrial researchers from the fields of service, medical, rehabilitation, and aerospace robotics are welcomed to parti​cipate in HCR 2018(

Technical Tours

We will arrange a visit to Rehabilitation robotics laboratory in Universit​y of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Institute of Aerospace System Engineering Shanghai and Robot Industrial Park in Shanghai Lingang industrial district.

Local Attractions

Shanghai offers many spectacular views and different perspectives, ancient and modern, Eastern and Western, high-speed and slow-paced. For sightseeing in Shanghai, you could visit 20 landmarks, e.g., the Bund, Yu Yuan Garden , etc.

Paper Presentation

Manuscripts should be no longer than 4 pages, in double column format. The accepted papers will be published and indexed in ​ACM digital Library and EI.
